« Real Time Updates to Web Page Using Macr... | Main | AFTER is released!! »

As I think is the case with anyone that works on computers it is always a special day when you receive a new computer. It's so pristine, so fresh, so pure. I used to love when I would get a new computer but I really can not say that with this latest computer I received. I went with Windows Vista Ultimate and it has been anything but Ultimate. Don't get me wrong it has got some great new features that I think are awesome. For instance:

Windows Key + Tab - scrolls the window in a new style which is pretty cool
Add to Quick Launch -  allows me to right click an exe and add it to the quick launch menu
Windows Sidebar - I like the idea of these gadgets though outside of the feed reader I haven't seen any that I am particularly fond of
Search - the ability to search has nicely been integrated into all the windows making it easier to find things
Network and Sharing Monitor - I really like the display of everything in my network though I don't know too much about this screen.

I know that there are plenty of others that I have yet to discover. But the one thing that has been driving me crazy lately is all the security measures that are included by default. I know it is great to be secure but I hate the fact that it takes me three prompts pretty much to do anything. I need someone to help me figure out how I can turn these off so I don't go mad. If anyone out there has any tips I would be greatly appreciative. That is all I know about thus far except that it was a pain to install everything again. If anyone has some good things that I haven't discovered drop me a line in the comments so I can try to remind myself why I went with Vista in the first place.
